Dr. Amanda Ivy is an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Live Oak Health Partners Specialty Care clinic in San Marcos, Texas.
Dr. Ivy treats patients of all ages, and has expertise with the following:

She is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Geaux Tigers) and received her Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She then completed her orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
Her orthopedic sports medicine fellowship was completed at Methodist Sports Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana under renowned surgeon Dr. Arthur C. Rettig. While there, she provided care for the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana State Sycamores and various high school teams.
She is currently working with several area high schools in the management of their athletes. She is a native of Grapevine, Texas but now lives in New Braunfels with her husband. She enjoys traveling with her husband, watching LSU football and cooking.
