Dr. Francisco Garza Salinas is a family medicine physician at Live Oak Health Partners in San Marcos, Texas. He treats patients of all ages and has special interests in preventive care, diabetes, and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Francisco Garza Salinas was born in Monterrey, Mexico and grew up in rural South Texas as a migrant worker. He was the first of his family to graduate from college when he completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Prior to medical training, he obtained experience in various fields, including Cardiac Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. Dr. Garza Salinas is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Garza Salinas and his wife enjoy traveling and spending quality time with family and their two dogs. They also make time to bike and run.
