Jamilla Stone, MD

Dr. Stone is board certified in Family Medicine and serves patients at the Live Oak Health Partners Walk-In Clinic. She is passionate about and committed to caring for underserved populations and advocating for patient rights. Her professional interests include global medicine/travel medicine, obesity medicine, and integrative medicine. She has more than sixteen years in the medical field- combining clinical, research, device and pharmaceutical experience. Dr. Stone speaks conversational Spanish.
Dr. Stone grew up in Lockhart before starting her education at Rice University. Prior to her work with Live Oak Health Partners, she was a primary care physician and a hospitalist in Luling. She has volunteered for many organizations including Hospice at the Texas Medical Center and Doctors at War Against Human Trafficking.
Dr. Stone enjoys international travel/trekking, rock collecting, reading, playing soccer and cooking.
